One Citygate, Newcastle – Project Completion
We’re proud to announce the successful completion of our 25,000 sq ft futureproofing refurbishment at One Citygate in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Delivered for Britannia Invest A/S, this multi-floor transformation has repositioned the asset with best-in-class CAT A & B workspace and a new ground-floor wellness suite – materially enhancing occupier experience and marketability.
The CAT A floors have achieved an EPC A rating, materially strengthening the asset’s sustainability credentials and future compliance position.
Alongside the fit-out, we implemented a comprehensive building services upgrade in line with our earlier Sustainability Audit. Air source heat pumps now provide low-carbon hot water throughout the building, while existing chilled beams have been replaced with a fully electric VRF heating and cooling system, significantly improving operational efficiency.
The result is a modern, future-ready workplace that strengthens occupier appeal, improves energy performance, and supports long-term asset value – all delivered within budget. Full case study to follow soon…watch this space!
