What is a commercial retrofit contractor? A commercial retrofit contractor designs and delivers energy efficiency and decarbonisation improvements to existing commercial buildings. Unlike consultants who produce strategies and reports, a retrofit contractor physically delivers the works on site and is accountable for the outcome.
What does retrofit mean for commercial property? In commercial property, retrofit refers to upgrading an existing building’s energy systems and fabric to improve its EPC rating, reduce carbon emissions and lower operating costs.
